Canada Immigration Program
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program helps employers in Atlantic Canada hire foreign-skilled workers who want to immigrate to Atlantic Canada and international graduates who want to stay in Atlantic Canada after they graduate. Learn about how the Canada Immigration Program can benefit you by calling Pilkington Law today.
If you wish to permanently relocate to Canada, the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program may be the best decision for you. You will have the ability to live in one of Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces, including Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick.
If you are a graduate of an Atlantic Canada publicly-funded institution, you will need to apply through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program as an international student graduate to continue your stay in Canada.
If you are not a graduate of an Atlantic Canada publicly-funded institution, and you desire to relocate, you can gain access to Atlantic Canada through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program.
In either case, you will have to meet the skilled worker requirements of Atlantic Canada. These requirements vary throughout three programs that employers can hire you through, including the Atlantic International Graduate Program, Atlantic High-Skilled Program, and Atlantic Intermediate Skilled Program. You may only apply to one.
To be eligible for the program you have to show proof that you meet the language, education, and work experience requirements and that you have enough money to support yourself and your family when you come to Canada.
